Oh. Interesting. That COULD be at play, then. Because I think (?!?) those who saw it happen signed up for the board earlier, and then after that I wanted to install the Web Push Notifications, which required a later version of PHP. I upgraded from 7.2 to 8.1.

If that's the case, then perhaps it won't happen for any new users. Hopefully that's the case, and there will be no further issues. I'll keep an eye on it.
