The problem described above is worst when using the forum as a PWA (progressive web app) on the phone because you lose all control to scroll back to the previous page -- i.e., you can't get back to the forum. Just discovered that when visiting in Safari directly (by entering the URL in the address bar) you may still get the back button for the browser, which helps, but something is still wrong since tapping on the picture shouldn't create a separate white page with nothing but the picture rotated at the top...
